How can I update the Parrot kit's software?

 

 

To update the CK3000 kit, there are 3 ways:

 

   1- By serial connection.

 

 

     You only need a PC, a Parrot serial cable and the Parrot Flash Update wizard 

     software.

    

     In order to update your kit, please follow these steps:

    

-          Download and install the Parrot Flash Update wizard.

-          Connect your PC and your car kit with the Parrot serial cable.

-          Don’t switch on your Parrot car kit.

-          Start the Parrot Flash Update wizard.

 

 

 

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

 

-          Select the kind of car kit you want to update: CK3000 .

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

 

-          Click on  “Download Latest version “.

 

 

 

-          Click on  “Download Now “.   

-          Wait until the following window appears:

 

 

 

-          Click on  “OK “.

 

 

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

 

-          Select the port which is connected to your car kit.

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

 

-          When the Parrot Flash Update Wizard reaches the “XPRAM downloading”, switch on your Parrot car kit.

-          Wait until the Parrot Flash Update wizard completes all of the steps.

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

-          Click on  “Finish “

-          Wait until the Parrot Flash Update wizard tells you that the update is complete.

-          Disconnect the kit from the PC.

-          Wait until your CK3000 reboots. This can take up to a few minutes. Do not switch off the ignition or power your car kit in the mean time

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. By Bluetooth:

 

 

You only need a PC, a Parrot Flash kit, a Parrot serial cable and the Parrot Flash Update wizard software.

 

 

In order to update your kit, please follow these steps:

 

-          Download and install the Parrot Flash Update wizard.

-          Connect your PC and your Parrot Flash kit with the Parrot serial cable.

-          Don’t switch on your Parrot car kit.

-          Start the Parrot Flash Update wizard.

 

 

 

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

 

-          Select the kind of Parrot Flash kit you want to update: CK3000 FOB.

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

 

-          Click on  “Download Latest Version “.

-          Wait until the following window appears:

 

 

 

 

-          Click on "Download now".

-          Wait until the following window appears:

 

 

 

-          Click on  “OK “.

 

 

 

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

 

-          Select the port which is connected to your car kit.

-          Click on  “Next “

 

 

-          When the Parrot Flash Update Wizard reaches the “XPRAM downloading”, switch on your Parrot car kit.

 

-          Wait until the Parrot Flash Update wizard completes all of the steps.

-          Click on  “Next “.

 

 

-          Click on  “Finish “.

-          Disconnect the Parrot Flash kit from the PC.

-          Connect the Parrot Flash kit to the cigar lighter of your car.

-          Wait until your Parrot car kit beeps.

-          Press the green button of your Parrot car kit.

-          Wait until your Parrot car kit indicates that the update is complete.

-          Disconnect the Parrot Flash kit from the cigar lighter.  

-          Wait your Parrot car kit reboots. This can take up to a few minutes. Do not switch off the ignition or power your car kit in the mean time
